The IKEA Food team in Edinburgh are looking
to welcome Food & Beverage assistants to join our delightful and
hardworking team, where you will play a big part in our multi-skilled team.

Prior experience in food is desirable, but
not essential if you have a roll up your sleeve mindset to the various tasks
& challenges that present themselves.     

• Are you a team player with a passion for food
  and people? Do you know your meat ball from your plant ball? If so, then we are
  looking for you.
• This is an extremely fast paced working
  environment and requires you to multitask, producing and serving food with
  regular heavy lifting.

• £11.45 per hour.
• Living Wage Foundation Employer.
• 16 hours per week, working 3 days out of 7
  and 3 out of 4 weekends (evenings & weekend).
• 12 hours per week working weekends only.
• We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping
  needs of our customers, and your availability will be discussed as part of your
  interview.

• As a Food
  Co-worker, you will report to one of the Food Managers or Team Leaders and work
  alongside them in the various areas in the department to help create a safe,
  healthy, delicious, sustainable, affordable, and joyful food experience for
  both the customer and the Co-worker.
• Cleaning your
  working area and any appliances used.
• Serving our
  delicious Food to our customers.
• Clearing
  tables & ensuring all equipment is clean & ready to be re-used.
• Helping the
  rest of the team with daily tasks.
• Working in a
  fast paced environment.
